Research finds that almost two thirds of adults in the UK don’t have a valid Will

With reference to the Independent online article, a recent survey conducted by Macmillan Cancer Support suggests that almost two-thirds of UK adults have not made a Will.

There are many reasons why making a Will is a task that most people put off yet it is one of the simplest steps that you can take to ensure your family is provided for on your death. The Independent article cites a number of these reasons and also reiterates official guidance recommending that people not only review their Wills every five years but also, after any major life changes such as the birth of a child, divorce, marriage or death of a beneficiary.

Here at Tozers, we support official guidance recommending reviewing your Will every few years. Our specialist team of wealth management experts are on hand to give you further advice or information. We offer a Will-writing service tailored to your wishes and needs and are experienced in drafting both simple and complex Wills.
