Review of the Mobile Homes Act 2013 – Update

The Government has announced that the 2017 review of the Mobile Homes Act 2013 will be published in two parts.

Part 1 is now open and calls for evidence on the fairness of charges, the transparency of site ownership and any harassment offences. This Part will run until 27 May 2017.

Part 2 was expected in early May and to look at the effectiveness of local authority licensing, the procedure for selling mobile homes and the making of site rules and pitch fee reviews.

The date of Part 2 may be affected by the General Election announced yesterday.

Tozers will be supporting the British Holiday & Home Parks Association responses to these consultations.

Further information about them can be found here.
