Are you reviewing your pitch fee?

With many residential parks in England and Wales having a 1 April pitch fee review date it is that time of year when many residential park owners are reviewing their pitch fees.

For parks both in England and Wales there is a set procedure which park owners must comply with in order for the review to be valid. The procedures for England and Wales are slightly different and therefore it is important that park owners ensure they are following the correct one.

Park owners of Welsh residential parks must remember that since 1 October 2014 they are required to use the relevant CPI figure when reviewing the pitch fee and not the RPI figure.

Park owners of English residential parks should consider whether they will be proposing to recover their annual site licence fee.
