The Boundary Bill

The Property Boundaries (Resolution of Disputes) Bill (“the Bill”) has had its first reading in the House of Lords and a date for the Second Reading and general debate is awaited. For further information on the progress of the Bill you can track it here.

The Private Members Bill proposes creating a new compulsory dispute resolution system similar to that found in the Party Wall Act 1996. If the Bill progresses into law, it will affect park owners as well as all other freehold land owners with a disputed boundary.
