Further to our blog of 5th January 2018 a second reading of the above private member’s bill introduced by MP Christopher Chope is listed for 26th October 2018.  The draft bill proposes the use of published criteria to determine whether owners of mobile homes or park homes are liable for council tax or non-domestic rates, to determine the residential status of such homes, the amendment of the Mobile Homes Act 1983 and connected purposes.
