Tozers Solicitors are delighted to announce their sponsorship of Shaldon Festival 2019. The coastal village of Shaldon will celebrate its 30th classical music festival from 20th to 23rd June at St Peter’s Church, with the aim ‘to provide local people and visitors with access to first rate, professionally-performed classical music at affordable prices’.

The festival begins this year on Thursday 20th June with the renowned Bath Philharmonia Orchestra, whose programme will include Humperdinck’s Prelude to Hansel and Gretel and Elgar’s famous Enigma Variations, along with several other works. Brian Kay, the original bass voice from the King’s Singer’s, will conduct a ‘Come and Sing’ day with Shaldon Festival Choir on Saturday 22nd June, to sing through Mozart’s Requiem in D Minor and Dyson’s Three Songs of Praise in an all-day rehearsal and informal evening concert. Concluding the festival is Onyx Brass performing an American themed programme with pieces by Bernstein, Gershwin and more on Sunday 23rd June.

Head of family law at Tozers, Tracy Lambert, comments:

“We are thrilled to be supporting Shaldon Festival as they celebrate their 30th year. With a varied programme and performers of such high standards, it promises to be an inspiring four days and we are very much looking forward to coming along!”
