Tozers host summer bowls evening at The Den, Teignmouth

Tozers bowls event at The Den Teignmouth

We were delighted to hold our second bowls event at The Den Bowling Club on Thursday 18th July – with Tozers’ staff joined by guests from local businesses. It was a chance to network whilst enjoying some competitive lawn bowls challenges.

Phil Downs of The Den Bowling Club led the event, briefing the teams on technique before they began and co-ordinating a variety of activities on the green. The team challenges started and ended with a ‘Spider’, where all bowlers had to deliver their bowls at the same time towards the Jack that was placed in the centre of the green.

The rain held off for the evening and refreshments were served at the bowling club, before the winning teams were announced and presented with their prizes.

Paul Zaleski, partner in our Teignmouth office, commented: “It was great to be joined by guests from a range of local businesses to have a go at bowls. I think some people may have discovered a hidden talent they didn’t know they had! A huge thanks to the The Den Bowling Club for kindly allowing us to use their facilities and for patiently showing us the techniques – we wish them all the best for the upcoming Teignmouth Open Bowls Tournament.”

Winners at Tozers' bowls event

The winning team (l-r): Tozers’ Paul Zaleski and Sue Halfyard, Gemma Neale of Wilkinson Grant, Tozers’ Amy Cater and Mayor Robert Phipps
