Tozers’ Newton Abbot office goes from strength to strength

Mark Meleady and Mark Williams outside Newton Abbot office

We are delighted to announce the promotion of two staff members at our Newton Abbot office, effective from 1st July 2019.

Mark Meleady, who trained as a solicitor at the firm before progressing to an associate has now been promoted to partner. Mark deals with a wide range of residential property matters for individuals including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity. His fantastic reputation in the area was recently recognised as he won the Rising Star award at Devon and Somerset Law Society awards after also winning Young Lawyer of the Year at the national Lawnet awards in November.

Mark Williams, an accredited children panel solicitor, has also been promoted from associate to partner. Mark specialises in all aspects of the law relating to children, working for parents and children in care cases as well as special guardians and foster carers. He has a particular interest in representing grandparents in family law matters and was instrumental in setting up our Domestic Abuse Response team. Mark provides clear and focussed advice when handling sensitive issues.

Managing partner of the firm, Paul Kelly, comments: ‘I am delighted that both Mark Meleady and Mark Williams have received these promotions. They are thoroughly deserved and further strengthen our Newton Abbot office. I wish them both every success as they continue their career with Tozers’.
