Tozers LLP is delighted to announce they are sponsoring prize winning author and poet Louis de Berniéres at this year’s Ways With Words at Dartington Hall.

The festival is a celebration of words and ideas; bringing together a community of readers and writers that love words and sharing in the pleasure of exchanging ideas.

From 5 July until 15 July, Ways With Words has a packed programme of events including talks, comedy and workshops from politicians, novelists, comedians, poets, academics and journalists with the aim to inspire, amaze, surprise and educate people in the stunning location next to the River Dart.

New to this year’s event will also be a murder mystery, live streamed performances from a meditation group, handmade books and a host of family events in their world circus.

Louis’ talk will reflect on his writing from his most well-known novel Captain Corelli’s Mandolin to his most recent novel So Much Life Left Over and his collection of poetry The Cat In The Treble Clef where he will explore the human connections and personal stories that inspired him and any challenges he encountered.

Vernon Clarke, partner in the property team at Tozers says: “Tozers is pleased to be involved in such a fantastic event. The festival draws in a wide-ranging audience to hear both new and established authors from all walks of life in this truly inspiring setting at Dartington Hall. With such a full programme of events, there really is something for everyone and we look forward to taking our seats in the Great Hall.”

Louis de Berniéres’ ‘Captain Corelli and Beyond’ talk is at 3.15pm on Tuesday 9 July in the Great Hall, Dartington.
