Tozers’ Staff Members Raise Over £690 For Mind Exeter and East Devon During Tough Mudder Challenge

On Saturday 19 August team members from Tozers took part in the Tough Mudder Challenge in Badminton, South Gloucestershire to raise money for Tozers’ charity of the year, Mind Exeter and East Devon.

The Tough Mudder is a gruelling, wet, muddy and painful 5 mile run whilst at the same time tackling 13 obstacles along the way including: “Hero Walls” – a pair of 9’6″ walls to climb over, “Everest” – a 15′ slippery quarter pipe to get over, “Shawshanked” – which involves dragging your body through a culvert pipe and backwardly dropping 5′ into the cold muddy water below.

Cameron Trimm, Josh O’Neill, Liam Hine, Matthew Andrews and Ben Thomson put in three months of hard training prior to the challenge yet aching limbs and tender muscles were an inevitable aftermath of this eventful team challenge:

“We couldn’t be prouder of our five fabulous team members. They showed great team spirit, perseverance, resilience and true Tozers grit in undertaking and completing this demanding challenge, despite injuries and came back to us smiling.” Said Endurance Arthur, Partner at Tozers Solicitors LLP and Chairperson of the firm’s Charitable and Social Responsibility Committee.

So far the team have raised a fantastic £690 for the charity with donations still coming in. To sponsor our Tough Mudder team please visit:
