Tozers tops rankings in 2014 legal directory

Devon law firm, Tozers Solicitors LLP, has been recognised as the top firm in the legal bible Chambers & Partners 2014 for its work in clinical negligence for claimants in Exeter and surrounds. Tozers is the only firm in band 1 for this category.

The quote from the legal directory on Tozers’ medical negligence team’s client service is: “The team is absolutely brilliant. It is a fantastically people-oriented firm.”

With regard to market standing the directory states: “The firm does top-end medical negligence work.”

Chambers & Partners 2014 goes on to say of Tozers’ two notable practitioners:

“Partner Endurance Arthur practises in a broad spectrum of clinical negligence cases including cardiac surgery, brachial plexus and neurological injury claims.”

“Partner Stuart Bramley is a “terrific” lawyer. His particular focus is on fatal accident, birth injury and hospital infection negligence cases.”

Tozers is also one of only two firms ranked in band 1 for charity law work in Exeter and surrounds. Chambers & Partners 2014 has listed partner Richard King as a notable practitioner in charities and writes: “Sources recognise Richard King as a “genuine charity specialist,” who “shows a willingness to look for solutions.” ”

The directory also declares that what the charities team is known for is: “Serving clients across a range of sectors, including education, theatre and health, on incorporation, constitutional issues and mergers. Strong specialism in advising schools upon the legal aspects of converting to academy status.”

The quote in Chambers & Partners 2014 with regard to efficiency is: “The standout quality when dealing with Tozers is its professionalism. When they promise to do something they do it well, on time and at the amount quoted.”

Moreover, in relation to Tozers’ industry knowledge the directory comments: “The breadth of knowledge is such that there are no gaps in their offering.”
