Two Newly Qualified Solicitors at Tozers

Callum and Emma qualified solicitors

Congratulations to Emma Ruttley and Callum Skelley who, after training with Tozers, both qualified as solicitors on Monday 16th September.

After studying a joint honours of English and History at the University of Southampton, Emma took a few years out to travel, work and get some legal experience. She then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course/LLM in Bristol before starting at Tozers. During her training contract at Tozers, Emma experienced working in our wealth management, residential property, registered providers (litigation team) and clinical negligence teams. Emma will be continuing her role in the wealth management team.

Callum studied History at the University of Reading, before studying his GDL at the University of Plymouth and his LPC at the University of Exeter. As part of his training contract, Callum gained experience in residential and commercial property, clinical negligence and company commercial. He also participated in the Lawnet Challenge for Age UK Exeter earlier this year. Callum will be qualifying into the residential property team.

Paul Kelly, managing partner of the firm, comments: ‘This is fantastic news for both Callum and Emma who have successfully completed their training contracts with us. We are delighted that they have decided to continue their career at Tozers, where we pride ourselves on supporting and developing the next generation of solicitors. Callum and Emma are both an asset to the firm and I know that the respective teams are delighted to welcome them back as newly qualified solicitors’.
