What a lot of rubbish

The Controlled Waste Regulations (England & Wales) 2012 came in to force on 6 April 2012 replacing the Controlled Waste Regulations 1992.

The new regulations provide for the classification of waste and list the types of waste that local authorities can now make a charge for collection and disposal.  The waste disposed of by certain businesses, such as caravan parks and camp sites amongst others, now falls into the classification of commercial waste for which a charge can be made for disposal.  We will be writing about this in more detail in the next issue of our Parklaw newsletter.
