With just over a week until the Moor 2 Sea, Tozers hosted a training ride from Bovey Tracey on 30th August.

Stewart Bergman from Just Events led the group over Haytor, Widecombe and Doccombe climbs, the favourite being Widecombe with its gentle gradient meandering back up towards Haytor.

As you can see from the pictures it was a happy group that arrived at Hound Tor (Stuart was smiling on the inside), knowing that the worst of the climbing was over.
The group arrived back at Bovey car park more or less in one piece and Café3sixty did a great job of replenishing the legs with jacket potatoes, beer and coffee.

We are very much looking forward to the Moor2Sea on 8th September with the main group of Tozers staff and guests leaving Exeter Racecourse at approximately 7.40am. If you see any riders wearing a Tozers’ Moor2Sea jersey (or anyone else on the ride for that matter), give them a cheer, they will definitely appreciate it.

If you do fancy seeing some (mainly) middle aged cyclists ride up some Dartmoor hills at half the speed of the pros, then Haytor would probably be the best place. We are expecting to pass through at some point between 9.00am and 9.30am. However, be warned, driving around Dartmoor whilst a cycling event is taking place does require a lot of time and patience!
