Greater protection for women at risk of abuse following release of Domestic Abuse Act 2021 fact sheet

The Domestic Abuse Act 2021 received Royal Assent on 29 April 2021, designed to strengthen support for victims of domestic abuse and to raise greater awareness of the devastating impact that abuse has. The Government has now released a factsheet on what steps they are now going to take in light of this Act to extend greater protection for women at risk of abuse. This is a very welcome development to achieve a more effective approach to addressing domestic abuse.
