Wood Farm Caravan and Camping Park changes hands for the first time in 48 years

Located just outside Charmouth on the West Dorset coast within the Char Valley, Wood Farm Caravan Park has been owned by the same family for over 48 years. With five pennant award by the AA, being featured in the Best of British Quality Touring and Holiday Parks, and with a 38.1 hectare site including 92 caravan holiday homes, 142 touring caravan pitches, 32 camping pitches and two farmhouses, it is a well respected park.
The sale was completed at the end of 2020 by Savills and Tozers acted on behalf of the seller.
Chris Sweeney, associate director in the leisure and trade team at Savills, said, "More people are enjoying a UK park holiday this year as international travel concerns persist, with the majority of operators reporting strong demand for 2021 bookings.
