Connie is a Senior Associate in Tozers’ Real Estate team, specialising in residential development, strategic land and affordable housing.
She advises developers on the full lifecycle of residential development projects, from initial site acquisitions through to sales and disposals. Her experience includes site acquisitions and exits, affordable housing sales, bulk disposals and new homes sales.
Connie also works closely with developers and landowners on strategic land matters, advising on option agreements, conditional contracts, overage arrangements and complex transfers. She acts for housing associations and affordable housing providers on golden brick and turnkey affordable housing transactions.
Alongside her specialist work, Connie has experience across a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work and secured lending.
She particularly enjoys the complex nature of the transactions she works on and being involved in the full lifecycle of a development site. She finds it especially rewarding to see a project progress from its initial acquisition through to the sale of the new homes years later. She is also passionate about affordable housing and believes everyone should have access to a safe and affordable home, whatever their circumstances.
Connie takes a friendly and conscientious approach to her work and makes time to understand her clients and the reasons behind their transactions. She provides clear, practical advice, helping clients understand potential risks and how these can be managed.
Connie qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and holds a Master’s degree in Business, Law and Management from the University of Law, graduating with distinction.
Outside of work, Connie enjoys spending time in the Devon countryside and along the South West coast. Her favourite way to spend time is an early morning beach walk with her young son and their dog.
