Liyana is a Paralegal in the firm’s Newbuild Conveyancing team, where she provides comprehensive support to the fee earners on a wide range of residential property transactions.
Her role includes opening client files, drafting and preparing contract documentation and reports, preparing files for completion, and attending to registration and post-registration formalities. Liyana plays an important part in ensuring that newbuild transactions progress smoothly and efficiently from instruction through to completion.
She particularly enjoys the fast-paced yet structured nature of newbuild conveyancing, where attention to detail and clear processes are essential to meeting tight developer deadlines.
Liyana graduated with a Master of Laws (LLM) with Distinction. During her undergraduate degree, she volunteered as a Student Advocate in a Welfare Benefits Law Clinic, where she represented clients in Personal Independence Payment (PIP) appeals at Tribunal. This experience strengthened her client care skills and reinforced her commitment to providing practical, accessible support to those navigating legal processes.
Liyana is fluent in Malayalam and has working proficiency in Hindi. Outside of the office, Liyana enjoys watching Formula 1 and cooking.
