Fiona Wadey joins highly respected Family team at Tozers LLP as a Senior Associate

We are pleased to announce that Fiona Wadey has joined our Divorce and Finance team at Tozers LLP, based at our Exeter office. She has been appointed as a Senior Associate working with Caroline Ryan, Head of the Divorce and Finance team.

Fiona comes with a wealth of experience in Family law having qualified in 2007. Her particular expertise is dealing with cases with multiple assets, businesses and pensions.

Fiona helps to resolve disputes between couples and promotes the welfare of any children involved.

Fiona says: "I am a people person and so I really enjoy client contact. I love working alongside my clients to help them sensitively and with empathy through a difficult time and moving them from a particularly difficult situation to one where they are able to look to the future with optimism.

My objective is always to achieve a resolution which is pleasing to my client in a manner which respects the family relationship they once had with their former spouse and promotes the welfare of any children. My clients can expect my full support and the benefit of my years of experience in achieving the best outcome for them. I pride myself in having a realistic, no-nonsense approach."

Advising a father who raised concerns over the mother’s rapid decline in mental health. The mother also had a history of abusing alcohol and prescription-based medications. Secured the urgent return of the child to the father’s care and a lives with order for the father.

Advising Husband, high earning equity partner of a London Actuaries in divorce proceedings. Providing advice to enable parties to reach agreement.

Secured Wife’s Interests in Property, Business & Pensions Amid Husband’s Suspension

Advising Wife in divorce proceedings. Husband having been suspended as a partner in his dental practice. Successfully obtaining an order for Wife to obtain interests in property, business and pensions.
