Tozers Strengthens Commercial Property Team with New Appointments

Tozers LLP is pleased to announce a strengthening of its Commercial Property expertise with the appointment of Tracyann Tweedie as Partner and Charlie Johansen as Solicitor in the Commercial Property team.
Tracyann Tweedie, has joined Tozers as Partner and Head of Commercial Property, bringing extensive experience in advising on all aspects of commercial property transactions. She has a strong track record acting on the acquisition and disposal of both freehold and leasehold interests, as well as advising on commercial leases for landlords and tenants.
Tracyann’s expertise also covers work on freehold development sites, including matters structured through conditional contracts, option agreements and promotion agreements. Her collaborative, problem‑solving approach is central to her work, with clients valuing her ability to identify and resolve title issues effectively and progress complex transactions efficiently.
Tracyann trained in London, has worked in leading regional practices across the South West, and previously held an in‑house legal role with a national housebuilder before returning to Tozers. She qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and is known for her pragmatic, timely and friendly delivery of commercial property advice.
Charlie Johansen has also recently joined the team as a Solicitor. Charlie supports clients through a broad range of commercial property work, including acquisitions and disposals of commercial premises and the taking and granting of leases. His precise attention to detail, practical approach and commitment to advancing client objectives ensures that clients receive clear guidance and strong support at every stage of their property matters.
Charlie is also Society Secretary and Charity Officer for Devon and Somerset Junior Lawyers Division, an organisation that helps young professionals in the legal industry build connections and support networks.
