This year, we are delighted to congratulate:

Meet Our Newly Qualified Solicitors
Charlotte Webber
Charlotte joined Tozers as a Trainee Solicitor in 2023, undertaking seats in Employment Litigation, Property Litigation, Corporate & Commercial and the Charities Team. Charlotte is passionate about providing clear and practical legal advice and is now contributing her expertise to the Litigation & Employment Team.
Rio Nathan
Rio began her training contract with Tozers in 2023, focusing on social housing and residential property matters. She is dedicated to delivering effective and empathetic legal support and has joined the Registered Providers Team as a Newly Qualified Solicitor.
Ellie Cox
Ellie started at Tozers as a Paralegal before becoming a Trainee Solicitor, completing seats across Residential Property, Parks Litigation, and Family Law. Prior to her training, she worked as a Paralegal in our Exeter New Homes conveyancing team. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to client care and family law matters and has now joined the Private Family Team.
How a Training Contract Works
A training contract is the final stage of the solicitor qualification process in England and Wales. Over a two-year period, trainee solicitors gain hands-on experience by rotating through different practice areas within the firm, known as “seats.” This provides a breadth of legal knowledge and practical skills, as well as the chance to work closely with clients under the supervision of experienced solicitors. On successful completion of the training contract, trainees are admitted to the Roll of Solicitors and qualify as solicitors in their chosen area of law.
Paul Kelly, Managing Partner at Tozers, said:
"We are incredibly proud of Charlotte, Rio and Ellie for successfully completing their training contracts and qualifying as solicitors. Their hard work, dedication, and professionalism during their training have already made a positive impact on our teams and clients."
Welcoming New Trainees
At the same time, we are delighted to welcome our new trainee this September, who is beginning their own journey with us. Alongside our existing trainees, we look forward to supporting them as they gain experience across the firm and develop their skills through their training contracts.
