Emily supports the Family Team in achieving the best possible outcomes for clients, with a focus on matters involving children, divorce and financial arrangements. She assists in all aspects of case management, including client correspondence, liaising with other legal representatives, drafting legal documents, and preparing for court hearings.
Emily is often the first point of contact for clients and is known for her compassionate and empathetic approach. She ensures that clients feel heard, supported and well-informed throughout what can be a particularly challenging and emotional time in their lives. She takes great satisfaction in helping clients navigate these difficulties and move towards a positive resolution.
Her interest in family law began during a professional placement year with another law firm in the South West, where she discovered a genuine passion for helping families through complex and sensitive legal issues. Emily graduated from the University of Exeter in 2025 with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in Law with Business with Professional Placement.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors, especially woodland walks with her dogs and paddle boarding when the weather allows.
