Sophie is a Paralegal in the Safeguarding Vulnerable Clients team. Her role focuses on the day-to-day management of Deputyship general management files for a wide range of vulnerable clients. She supports and protects individuals who are unable to manage their own property and financial affairs, ensuring their needs are met with care and diligence.

Sophie regularly works with Independent Financial Advisers to invest clients’ funds, assists with the purchase and sale of property on their behalf, and prepares applications to the Court of Protection where necessary. Her work centres on safeguarding clients’ finances and acting in their best interests at all times.

She particularly values developing strong personal relationships with those she supports, recognising how essential trust and communication are when dealing with finances and important life decisions. Sophie has also developed a keen interest in investments, enjoying the challenge of identifying appropriate levels of risk based on each client’s circumstances.

Clients can expect clear communication, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to acting with integrity.

Sophie began her legal career with Tozers in 2024 as an assistant. She soon discovered her passion for helping vulnerable individuals and has since progressed into her role as a Vulnerable Clients Paralegal. She graduated with an LLB in Law in 2024 and will begin her CILEX studies in 2026.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys dog walking, swimming, and spending time at the beach.

“I believe that great financial and property management begins with genuine relationships. By ensuring I have personal relationships with each of my clients, it allows me to act with insight, integrity, and always within their best interests.”
