We are thrilled to announce that Tozers LLP has been shortlisted for multiple categories at the LawNet Awards 2025, recognising our commitment to excellence, innovation, and professional growth. Our nominations include:
- Law Firm of the Year
- ESG Initiative Award
- Rising Star – Mai Mbye
Law Firm of the Year
This award recognises a firm that demonstrates sustainable growth, client focus, and innovation. Tozers exemplifies these qualities through strategic clarity, a commitment to inclusivity, responsible business practices, talent development, and technological innovation. Building on the success of last year, when we proudly received the Excellence in Client Care Award, we have continued to make significant strides. Over the past 12–18 months, the firm has expanded its client services, deepened community engagement, invested in the wellbeing of our colleagues, and achieved high-profile legal outcomes.
ESG Initiative Award
This award recognises firms making a tangible positive impact through Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives. Tozers’ ESG strategy integrates sustainability, social impact, and inclusion across all operations, including our Positive Impact Programme, Net Zero initiatives, and wellbeing and diversity programmes. These initiatives empower colleagues, support communities, reduce our environmental impact, and foster an inclusive, values-driven culture.
Rising Star – Mai Mbye
The Rising Star award recognises emerging legal talent with exceptional skill, leadership, and impact. Mai, an employment solicitor, combines strong legal expertise with empathetic client care and mentorship. She has secured significant client wins, developed innovative HR services, contributed to the firm’s ED&I initiatives, and enhanced community engagement. Mai’s strategic approach and commitment to excellence make her a standout candidate for this award.
Paul Kelly, Managing Partner at Tozers, said:
"We are incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for these awards. It’s a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and talent of everyone at Tozers. From our ESG initiatives to the outstanding achievements of our people, including Mai Mbye, our focus remains on delivering exceptional service to clients, supporting our communities, and fostering a culture where our teams can thrive."
The winners will be announced in October at the LawNet Conference 2025 at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our sector alongside our peers.
