How does a traffic light review work?
One of our team will carry out a thorough review of your proposed tems and conditions. If your proposed terms and conditions work you will receive a ‘green light’ meaning no further amendments are needed. However, if you receive either an ‘orange’ or ‘red light’, we recommend that changes should be made to ensure your business is as protected as possible.
What does the review cover?
The review will consider whether your terms and conditions provide the minimum information now required by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and whether a court would be likely to say that any of the terms are likely to be unfair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and therefore unenforceable. We cannot guarantee that your terms are fair as, in the event of a dispute, only a court can rule on that.
If changes are required, we will indicate the points that need to be considered within the fixed fee. If you would like us to work with you on the wording, an additional fee may be needed, subject to the amendments required.
