Flexible working is perennially popular with employees but can be rather less so with employers. The pandemic has led to much more flexible ways of working for many people but there can be real issues where employer and employee don’t see eye to eye about how a particular job should be done.
This interactive session will cover:
• employers’ obligations under the statutory flexible working procedure
• flexible working requests from an employee on maternity leave or with childcare issues
• flexible working as a reasonable adjustment for a disabled employee
• changing contractual terms to reflect flexible working
• withdrawing or amending flexible working arrangements
• dealing with common flexible working disputes (and how not to deal with them!).
