Our busy property team provides a bespoke conveyancing service across England and Wales tailored to meet our clients’ needs.

We have a large and expanding team of skilled and respected property lawyers who pride themselves on their level of service, combining a traditional personal approach with speed and efficiency using the latest technology.  A significant amount of work is received through recommendations from clients and local estate agents with whom we have an excellent working relationship. 

What you’ll be doing

We are now seeking a conveyancing assistant who can support the team in delivering this excellent service.  The successful candidate will provide professional, proactive support to the team enabling them to remain organised and to work efficiently and effectively. 

You will be providing legal support to fee earners with both administrative tasks and pre/post completion work on property transactions.

Your standard responsibilities will include: opening, closing and archiving client files, using the firm’s IT systems and packages, proof reading, dealing with emailed or telephone client enquires, submitting Land Registry applications, undertaking property searches, assisting with some client and third party queries, document production and assisting lawyers generally with administrative responsibilities. 

What we’re looking for

You will be very well organised and will enjoy organising others.  You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and will be happy to adapt to the requirements of the tasks facing you.  Ideally you will be able to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and how you have used these in your previous positions. 

What you’ll have

Previous experience in a property role would be desirable but is not essential. You will have good IT and organisation skills and be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
