1 Million Steps for Cauda Equina Syndrome

On 29th January 2021, Cauda Equina Champions Charity are launching their first ever ‘1 Million Steps for Cauda Equina Syndrome’ campaign.

They are asking people to step into the New Year and help raise awareness of the condition by getting out there, walking for a better mental health and supporting those people that they may know or loved ones that have permanent disabilities resulting from the syndrome.

Members of our Medical Negligence team, including co-head Partner and Solicitor Endurance Arthur, Partner and Solicitor Simon Mansfield, and Partner and Solicitor Clair Hemming, have taken up the call to complete this quest in 100 days.

1 million steps equates to 500 miles, or 806 kilometers, with an average stride, with the money raised going to support more people in need of the services, which also includes a national helpline, support group meetings and much needed post-operative information.
