Introducing the Family Rights Group interactive map

The Childcare Team at Tozers recognise that for parents and families involved in care proceedings which result in adoption against a family’s wishes, it can be an extremely stressful and distressing time. Finding the right support and advice in those circumstances is difficult but crucial if a family is to try and better cope with the difficult circumstances surrounding such an outcome.

It is with that in mind that Tozers note that the Family Rights Group have recently launched an interactive map for birth relatives of children who have been adopted, are being adopted or who may be adopted and who are looking for information or support.

The map includes details of agencies who are able to provide support and services which may offer some comfort to families. The map identifies resources area by area that can provide counselling or therapeutic support and potential support groups for birth families affected by adoption.

Mark Williams, Partner in the Care Team at Tozers and member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, would very much endorse this website as being a valuable resource.

The link for the same can be found below.
