Tozers’ Affordable Housing Team Welcomes New Team Members

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of Tozers’ Affordable Housing team with the addition of several accomplished professionals. Let’s meet the latest members:

Michael Taylor: Michael, a Partner and Solicitor, has over 20 years of experience in the social housing field. Having worked directly for Registered Providers in both a legal and company secretarial capacity, he is well-versed in all aspects of social housing law, including property & development housing & asset management, and governance & regulatory work. Michael’s practical advice helps Registered Providers achieve their objectives and deliver quality affordable housing.

George Summerfield: A valuable addition to our team, George’s role involves answering general housing management related queries; drafting claims forms and completing applications for court; preparing bundles for hearings, instructing expert witnesses; drafting pre-action letters; preparing and collating standard disclosure lists and preparing witness statements.

Jericha Perry-Darlison: Jericha’s arrival adds depth to our property expertise with a focus on shared ownership purchases. Her passion for social housing and dedication to her clients make her a valuable asset.

Ashley Williams: Ashley is a Chartered Legal Executive with 10 years' experience, 7 of which was spent with Devon & Cornwall Police helping tackle anti-social behaviour and working closely with Registered Providers and Local Authorities.  Ashley’s skills and commitment enhance our team’s capabilities, contributing to our mission of providing excellent service to the Affordable Housing sector.

The Affordable Housing team at Tozers is a specialised group of legal professionals dedicated to providing expert advice and support in matters related to affordable housing. Their focus includes various aspects of housing law, property transactions, governance, and regulatory compliance within the affordable housing sector. The team collaborates with clients, including Registered Providers Charities and Charitable Trusts and, Local Authorities, including Town and Parish Councils to ensure the successful delivery of affordable housing projects and initiatives. Whether it’s advising on property acquisitions, development agreements, or tenancy matters, the Affordable Housing team plays a crucial role in promoting access to quality housing for all.
