We are thrilled to share that Tozers was recognised at the Devon & Somerset Law Society (DASLS) Legal Awards and Annual Dinner, held on Thursday 19th June at the University of Exeter's Great Hall. With over 380 guests in attendance, the evening was a celebration of legal talent across the region, featuring a fantastic dinner and entertainment.
The evening was co-hosted by media presenter and comedian David “Fitz” Fitzgerald - better known simply as “Fitz” and also featured an inspiring speech from former rally champion Penny Mallory.
Client Experience Award
We’re delighted to announce that Tozers took home the Client Experience Award, a category that recognises firms who place client care at the heart of their practice. This award is a tribute to the dedication of every member of Tozers and reflects our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service to every client.
Our client care philosophy emphasises active listening, trust, and continuous improvement. We actively seek feedback to refine our services, blending human interaction with technology to enhance relationships and measure progress. By nurturing our team and responding to client needs, we adapt and evolve, ensuring exceptional legal services tailored to the unique needs of both businesses and individuals.

This marks our third client care recognition in less than a year. Alongside the DASLS award, we also hold the Legal 500 Client Satisfaction Kite Mark and the LawNet Award for Excellence in Client Care, both based on independent feedback and assessments.
We’re also proud to celebrate individual successes on the night:
- David Cobern, a Consultant in our Family team, was Highly Commended in the Chartered Legal Executive of the Year David is known for his specialist expertise in family law especially for advising on cohabitation, pre-nuptial agreements, and complex financial arrangements for both married and unmarried couples.
- Debby Kwok was shortlisted for her work as a member of the Parks team. Debby manages the administrative needs of colleagues who act for caravan park operators across England & Wales.
Congratulations to David and Debby for this well-deserved recognition and well done to everyone who contributed to such a strong showing at this year's awards.
