Emma McAdam

“I aim to provide an approachable and conscientious service to clients, who are often experiencing a stressful time in their lives. I appreciate that clients need work to be completed in a timely and efficient manner and to be kept updated as their matters progress.”

Emma works primarily with vulnerable clients to protect their assets and wellbeing when they have lost the mental capacity to deal with their own affairs. She regularly works with individuals who are under the Court of Protection, both in terms of making Court applications and day-to-day management. Emma also advises attorneys acting under Powers of Attorney and can provide expertise regarding care fee funding and protecting assets in later life.

Emma appreciates that clients in these situations are often dealing with particularly difficult and upsetting decisions. To help, Emma looks to build relationships established on trust and a broad understanding of what is important. By doing this she can help to achieve the best result for them and maintain their long-term security.

Emma qualified in 2019, having trained with Tozers. Her pre-qualification experience included working in Medical Negligence, Residential Property and Social Housing.
